Fire incident displaces families in Jigawa

Fire outbreak in Dan Barage town, Garki Local Government Area of Jigawa State, has displaced several families.

Confirming the incident, the Council Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Hudu Kore, stated that the fire, which occurred on Thursday, destroyed three houses and several food stalls, leaving many residents without shelter and means of livelihood.

He stated that no lives were lost but expressed deep concern over the loss of properties.

Kore prayed for divine protection against future occurrences and called for urgent government intervention to support the affected families.

Meanwhile, the victims are appealing to the government and well-meaning individuals for assistance to rebuild their lives.
