Chairman of the 2025 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Elective Convention Committee and Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on Thursday led members of the National Convention Organizing Committee (NCOC) Executive on an on-the-spot assessment visit to key facilities in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The visit covered major venues and support infrastructure, including the Lekan Salami Stadium, selected bus terminals, and other critical facilities earmarked for the smooth hosting of the forthcoming #Ibadan2025 PDP National Convention, scheduled for November 15–16, 2025.

Governor Fintiri and his delegation assessed the level of preparedness of the host state, focusing on logistics, accommodation, security arrangements, and other essential amenities required for a successful convention.

Speaking during the inspection, Governor Fintiri commended the Oyo State Government for its readiness and commitment to ensuring a hitch-free and historic event, reaffirming the PDP’s resolve to conduct a transparent, credible, and well-organized national convention that will further strengthen the unity and democratic values of the party.
