The Federal Ministry of Youth Development has endorsed the Yoruba Youth Council (YYC) and confirmed Alawode Rahmon Akintunde as its president.
The endorsement was contained in an official recognition letter signed by Mohammed Abdullahi, chief of staff to Ayodele Olawande, Minister of Youth Development.
The ministry commended the Yoruba Youth Council for its unwavering commitment to youth development, cultural preservation, and community advancement.
In his response, Alawode expressed gratitude to the ministry for the recognition, pledging the council’s continued support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the progressive leadership ideology of Ayodele Olawande.
As part of the milestone, the Yoruba Youth Council also unveiled its new official logo, symbolising unity, identity, and the spirit of Omoluabi.
Alawode reassured that all structures of the Yoruba Youth Council remain intact and firmly committed to its mission.
