FG Approves Uniform Prices for Renewed Hope Housing Units Nationwide

The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, has approved uniform selling prices for housing units under the Renewed Hope Estate Programme in all states of the federation.

The units, consisting of one-, two-, and three-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, are priced as follows:

One-bedroom: ₦8.5 million

Two-bedroom: ₦11.5 million

Three-bedroom: ₦12.5 million

Announcing the decision in Abuja, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, said the uniform pricing policy is intended to ensure affordability, transparency, and equal access for Nigerians across all regions.

“This initiative removes location-based price variations and guarantees that every Nigerian, regardless of where they live, can benefit from the programme on equal terms,” Dangiwa stated.

Priority in allocation will be given to low- and middle-income earners, civil servants at all levels of government, employees in the organised private sector with verifiable income, and Nigerians in the Diaspora who wish to own property in the country.

The Permanent Secretary, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, disclosed that multiple payment options have been introduced to enhance accessibility.

These include outright payment, mortgage financing, rent-to-own schemes, and flexible instalment plans.Sales of completed housing units in the northern and southern regions will commence soon.

Interested applicants can submit applications through the official Renewed Hope Housing portal at www.renewedhopehomes.fmhud.gov.ng or obtain forms from the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja and its field offices nationwide.

The programme is part of ongoing efforts to address Nigeria’s severe housing deficit and make homeownership more attainable for ordinary citizens.
