FCT Police Nab 52 Suspects In Midnight Raids Across The Country


The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has apprehended 52 suspects during coordinated raids on criminal hideouts and black spots across the territory.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama made this known on his X handle on Monday.

Police operatives from the Nyanya, Gwagwa, Jikwoyi, Utako, Apo, Karmo, Iddo, and Kabusa Divisions conducted the operations at approximately 11:45 p.m. on October 12.

According to the FCT Police Command, “All the suspects are currently in our custody undergoing screening and interrogation. Those found culpable will be charged to court.”

The command emphasized that the raids form part of ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities and ensure the safety of residents across the territory.

Residents have welcomed the operations, expressing hope that such sustained security measures will make the FCT safer and deter criminal elements from targeting vulnerable communities.
