ABUJA – The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Council(FCCPC) said it has engaged with banking sector in Lagos at the weekend, as part of its sector by sector Roundtable Compliance Engagements, to foster dialogue for a fairer financial landscape.
A statement on its official X(formerly Twitter) said the key focus areas discussed during the meeting included empowering stakeholders with compliance knowledge, strengthening self-regulation and consumer protection, and addressing sector-specific challenges.
The FCCPC said it is committed to building a stronger, more compliant market for all.
