A member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, Hon. James Faleke, has declared that the hardships faced by Nigerians are over.
Faleke made this statement during a political rally organised by All Progressives Congress (APC) groups in Kebbi State to show solidarity with Governor Dr Nasir Idris for his achievements in one and a half years in office.
“I am happy to be here and see the people of Kebbi State happy because of the governor’s performance. If a country must progress, the people must endure some hardships, but those hardships are now over. Our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is determined to move the country forward and will not disappoint you,” Faleke stated.
Governor Nasir Idris attributed Kebbi State’s infrastructural progress and security stability to his strong relationship with President Tinubu. He assured residents that his administration would continue distributing free fertilisers to farmers and food items during Ramadan while delivering more capital projects.
Former Kebbi State Governor and Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, noted that President Tinubu’s love for the state had led to the appointment of two ministers and the execution of key capital projects.
Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Usman Zuru, commended Governor Idris for his numerous projects and pledged legislative support to meet the expectations of the people.
The rally was attended by thousands of APC supporters from the state’s 21 local government areas, as well as members of the state cabinet.
