Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has disclosed that Ebere Eze has always been desperate to play games for the Gunners.
Arteta made this known after he scored the match-winning goal against his former side Crystal Palace in Sunday’s Premier League game.
“I didn’t see any difference. He’s super relaxed always before the game, always a big smile on his face,” Arteta told the club’s website.

“He’s desperate to play games, and I haven’t noticed anything different. He might be inside him, obviously; he’s been there a long time. It was such strong feelings and gratitude to Crystal Palace and today was a very special game for him.
“That’s what big players do and he’s certainly a big player and hopefully that’s going to give him a big boost and confidence to generate many more moments like this because that’s the moment that sometimes defines a season,” the Arsenal manager said.
This was also Eze’s first Premier League goal in seven matches for Arsenal since his move from Palace in August.
