Ex-LG Boss, Hundred Of Others Defect To APC In Kebbi

BIRNIN-KEBBI – The former Chairman of Dandi local government area of Kebbi state, Alhaji Garba Salihu Dila Kamba has defected to the ruling All progressives Congress, APC, in Kebbi State.

Salihu, a famous politician in Kamba town, said that he was approached by the ruling party in the state to join them in building Kebbi state because of what he has achieved during his tenure as local government Chairman under the opposition peoples democratic party “my decision to accept their invitation was born out of my love for my people and the giant infrastructure the serving governor is putting in place hence my desire to join the team”.

Salihu explained that before defecting to APC he held meetings with his supporters and ward excos who gave him the nod to defect with them since whatever he is doing is for the good of the state therefore not out of place to rejoin the ruling party to help governor Idris to steer the state to path of progress and development which he is already doing.

Salihu has now joined the trio of former state law maker, Samaila Bui and one time governorship running mate to General Aminu Muhammad Bande under PDP, Aliero’s younger brother, Abba Aliero and a host of other Senator Aliero’s lieutenants in efforts to empty the opposition party ahead of 2027 polls.
