
An ex-convict, who was released just six days ago after serving a two-year sentence for stealing a motorcycle, has been arrested again for stealing another motorcycle.
The spokesperson of the command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the incident, explaining that the suspect had been arrested two years ago for stealing a motorcycle.

He was subsequently arraigned, convicted, and sentenced to a two-year prison term.
After completing his sentence, the suspect was released just seven days ago but has now returned to commit the same crime.
During interrogation, the suspect claimed he was lured into reoffending.
SP Bright said …
“The suspect an Ex-convict, who just finished serving his two-year jail term six days ago at Ogwashi-Ukwu correction centre for the offence of stealing a motorcycle, went back to steal another motorcycle just after six days.”
