Everton make all their players available for sale amidst financial crisis

Everton are set to offload their top players this summer as they grapple with severe financial difficulties, and possibly points deduction.

The club have made their entire squad available for transfer, including key stars like Jarrad Branthwaite, Jordan Pickford, and Amadou Onana.

Facing an urgent need to balance their books by June 30 to avoid further Premier League penalties, the Toffees might have to accept lower-than-ideal offers for these players.

This financial squeeze follows an eight-point deduction this season for breaching Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

Manchester United are already reportedly interested in young defender Branthwaite, while Pickford, England’s No.1 goalkeeper, is expected to draw considerable interest from various clubs.

Striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is in the final year of his contract, has also caught the eye of Newcastle United.

He is being considered as a potential replacement for Callum Wilson should the latter leave The Magpies.

Although Everton have offered Calvert-Lewin a new deal, he has yet to agree to the terms.

Everton’s financial woes have also opened the door for potential changes in club ownership, according to report by SunSport.

Majority owner Farhad Moshiri is now able to entertain offers from other interested parties after the expiration of 777 Partners’ share purchase agreement.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace shareholder John Textor has expressed interest in taking over, despite the complex situation.
