Erling Haaland Named Premier League Player Of The Month For September

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has been voted the Premier League Player of the Month for September 2025.

In September , Erling Haaland had a dazzling run of form that saw him score five goals and register an assist in just three matches.

The Norwegian hitman proved unstoppable throughout the month, finding the net against Arsenal and Manchester United as Pep Guardiola’s side rediscovered their rhythm following a sluggish start to the campaign.

“I’m really happy to win this award for a fourth time,” Haaland told Manchester City’s official media. “It always means a lot, so thank you to everyone who voted for me. I also want to thank my teammates, the coaches and all the staff, we do everything together.

“September was an important month for us as a team. We played some really good football, stayed unbeaten, and got important wins for our fans. I’m happy I could help the team with goals and performances.

“Now we just keep going, keep working hard every day, because there’s a tough schedule after the international break. Hopefully, we can keep the same level and win even more games.”

The 25-year-old currently tops the Premier League scoring chart with nine goals, ahead of Bournemouth duo Antoine Semenyo and Jaidon Anthony. Across all competitions, Haaland has already bagged 12 goals in nine appearances this season, maintaining his reputation as one of world football’s most lethal forwards.

This latest recognition brings Haaland’s tally of Player of the Month awards to four, placing him alongside Premier League legends such as Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, and Frank Lampard. Only eight players in the league’s history have claimed the accolade more times.

Meanwhile, on the touchline, Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner scooped the Manager of the Month award after guiding the Eagles through an unbeaten September.

Palace earned a hard-fought draw against Sunderland before pulling off impressive victories over West Ham United and defending champions Liverpool.

It marks the club’s first Manager of the Month award since April 2014, when Tony Pulis received the honour. Glasner beat out competition from Mikel Arteta, Pep Guardiola, and Régis Le Bris for the award.
