Wilfred Ndidi has expressed his disappointment following Leicester City’s stalemate against Crystal Palace.
The Foxes were held to a 2-2 draw by their hosts at the Selhurst Park on Saturday.
Steve Cooper’s side led 2-0 before Palace rallied to earn a share of the spoils.
Ndidi provided the assist for Leicester City’s goals scored by Jamie Vardy and Stephy Mavididi.
Reflecting on the encounter, the Nigeria international felt it was like two points dropped for the former Premier League champions.
“It was very disappointing because we know we almost had it, so it was really disappointing. The result does not reflect on the performance,” Ndidi told the club’s official website.
“But this is the Premier League and anything can happen at any moment. You could see the fight that Crystal Palace had and what they were trying to do in the game. We actually did brilliantly staying in the game after the first goal they scored.
“It’s just so unlucky because you see the penalty. We did really well.”
