EPL: Guardiola speaks on Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez transfer saga

Premier League giants, Manchester City are set to surrender their interest in Arsenal forward, Alexis Sanchez.

City boss, Pep Guardiola disclosed this on Friday at a news conference in England ahead of tomorrow’s Premier league clash against Newcastle.

Guardiola was coy about a deal for his former Barcelona player, Sanchez.

When asked about Sanchez transfer saga by English reporters, Guardiola said:

“Everyone knows the quality of Alexis but I’m sorry I can’t answer about Alexis and other players.”

Sanchez was on the verge of joining the league leaders last summer.

The 29-year-old pulled out of the deal after failing to sign a replacement in time.

Alexis sanchez would have been in manchester city, if not that arsenal boss(arsene wenger) didn’t find a good replacement for him on time. Pep go for other players before the transfer window closes. Leave sanchez for manchester united

As an Arsenal fan, I would prefer the deal from United, if they agree to a swap deal either with the former BVB guy or with the young French forward in their ranks.
Alexis is 29. I wonder why so much fuss about him, because he will soon be 30.

I expected this comment from Pep Guardiola on Alexis Sanchez interest because this is his own strategy to pull off other rival club’s interest but nevertheless, I still see Sanchez moving to the Etihad stadium before January transfer Deadline.

Do you mean you don’t want to let the cat out if the bag, I’ll be so disappointed if the transfer doesn’t pull through!
