England have booked a spot in the Euro 2024 quarterfinals after a dramatic 2-1 win over Slovakia, thanks to Jude Bellingham.

An overhead kick equalizer from Bellingham and Harry Kane’s winning goal in extra time ensured England advanced to the next round.

Gareth Southgate’s team was on the brink of an early exit following a lackluster performance that saw them fall behind after 25 minutes and fail to register a shot on target until the 95th minute.

Bellingham’s acrobatic effort in the dying minute of regular time provided a lifeline for the three lions.

The drama continued as Eberechi Eze, coming off the bench, found Ivan Toney with a precise pass, and Toney’s looped effort set up Kane for the winner just seconds into extra time.

The victory pushes England into the quarterfinals, where they will face Switzerland next Saturday.
