Energia Limited, a leading Nigerian independent energy company, is joining forces with key stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to optimise Africa’s upstream growth opportunities.

In this vein, the Company is participating in the upcoming Africa Energy Week (AEW) 2025, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa.

As part of the participation, Oladimeji Bashorun, Energia’s chief operating officer, will join industry leaders at the Upstream E&P Forum on 1st of October 2025, contributing to a high-level panel discussion on “Unlocking Africa’s Onshore and Shallow Water Potential – Strategies for Sustainable Exploration and Development.”

The session will explore pathways for optimising Africa’s upstream opportunities, with a focus on sustainable practices, indigenous innovation, and regional collaboration.

On the same day, Energia will also lend its voice to thought leadership alongside Olaniwun Ajayi LP, in partnership with Africa Legal, at the Leadership Forum, themed “Beyond Divestments: Unleashing Indigenous Capacity to Power Nigeria’s Upstream Growth,” highlighting the critical role of indigenous companies in reshaping Nigeria’s upstream landscape amid ongoing industry divestments.
