Ekiti: Kolawole, Elebute to chair Ipoti cultural festival


The Ipoti community of Ekiti state has concluded preparations to mark this year’s Cultural Festival to promote the rich Culture, values and tradition of the kingdom as well as foster unity amongst it’s indigenes.

The annual cultural celebration scheduled to take place on November 8, 2025 at the Palace Square, which promises to be a memorable one, has Mr. Akinlayo Kolawole and Chief Kemi Elebute as co-chairs for the iconic event.

In a statement at the weekend in Abuja, Ipoti Community Development Association, chairman, Garba Sola Arogundade, said, ” this year’s festivities promise to be enriching and impactful, aimed at enhancing the status of our beloved town.

“The Ipoti Day celebration has always been a significant event that showcases the cultural heritage and community spirit of the town. This year, attendees can look forward to a diverse range of programs and activities designed to promote unity, celebrate our traditions, and support local initiatives”

Arogundade who expressed optimism for the upcoming celebration noted “We are excited to bring together the community for a day of celebration and reflection. Our goal is not only to honor our rich heritage ,but also to engage in conversations and activities that will add real value to Ipoti.

He urged residents of Ipoti Community to take advantage of this year’s event to appreciate and imbibe the cultural values of the community.

“The community is invited to participate in this vibrant celebration of culture, food, music, and connection”
