Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani has mourned late elder statesman, Chief Edwin Clark.
Daily Sun reported that Clark, a former Federal Commissioner for Information, died aged 97.
A representative of the family, Prof. C. C. Clark confirmed his death in a statement on Tuesday.
Reacting in an X post, Sani said Clark lived a life of service to the nation, adding that Nigeria lost a great patriot.
He said, “Chief Edwin Clark; Nigeria has lost a great patriot and distinguished elderstateman.
“He lived an accomplished life of service and sacrifice to his country.
“He was a voice of reason, equity, peace and justice. May his soul rest in peace.”
