
Sophie Alakija (born Sophie Rammal on February 8, 1993) is a Nigerian actress and model who has appeared in Nollywood films.

Alakija was born into an Islamic household in Lagos state, southwestern Nigeria, and raised in Surulere. Her father is of Lebanese ethnicity, and her mother is Nigerian, specifically of Efik origin from Cross River State.
Career
In 2010, Alakija performed as the lead dancer in Nigerian music artist Wizkid‘s music video Holla at Your Boy. She has appeared in numerous films, including Drawing Strands, Getting Over Him, and Small Chops. She appeared in the 2017 television series Scandals, a Ghana-Nigeria cooperation. In 2019, she appeared in the television series Halita and then in the television series Assistant Madams. She also appeared in Timini Egbuson’s Muslim Wife (2020) and My Village People (2021).

On March 27, 2016, she married Wale Alakija in a low-key traditional Islamic ceremony. They have two children in their four-year marriage, which terminated in 2020. She is also known to wear her natural hair on set.
