Dugarry Faults PSG, Enrique’s Treatment Of Donnarumma

Former PSG striker Christophe Dugarry has faulted the manager Luis Enrique’s decision to allow goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma to leave the Paris club.

The Italian international is on the verge of joining Premier League side Manchester City this summer.

Speaking with TribalFootball, Dugarry said he was shocked by the treatment reserved for the Italian goalkeeper.

“This situation perfectly reflects what football has become,” said Dugarry.

“Players are criticiszed for lacking heart or a sense of club spirit, but when I see how PSG treated Donnarumma, who has had difficult moments but has been decisive in recent victories, I’m shocked.”

“You’ll have to explain to me how Chevalier is better than Donnarumma. He declared his love for the club, he sacrificed himself even in the toughest moments. He didn’t deserve this treatment.”
