Don’t Be Provoked Into Reprisal Attacks, Northern Youths Warned

KANO – The Coalition of Northern Group Wednesday cautioned Northerner to restrain from reprisal action in the light of attack on Hausa community in River State Tuesday evening.

Addressing a crowded press conference at NUJ press centre, Kano, the spokesman of the group, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman said reprisal is the ultimate hope of conflict instigators that must be rebuffed.


He said “as a cultured people with long history of tolerance and respect for constituted authority, we are calling northerners to resist the temptations of carrying out reprisal and playing to the gallery “.
