A Nigerian man, Afam, has advised fathers to raise their children with love while instilling values and setting boundaries.
Afam, who gave the advice in a post on X, said fathers who act like “Brigadier Generals” at home risk alienating their children.
“Men, as you raise your kids, balance discipline with love. If you like, go be a Brigadier General at home like that troll suggests—just know you’ll spend old age lonely, begging your kids for a relationship. The choice is yours: lead with wisdom or regret it later. Udo!,” he wrote.
