Digital skills development: Group unveils talent hub in Edo



‎As part of efforts to boost educative digital creativity, a firm, Legold Assets, has launched the Legold Media Community, a creative hub designed to train, empower and develop content creators, media professionals and young talents.

‎The initiative aims to build a strong digital workforce to support the company’s media operations while offering aspiring and established creators opportunities for growth through training, collaboration and mentorship, Blueprint.ng reports.

‎Speaking at the launch in Benin City, Edo state, the MD/CEO of the company, Mr. Oladele Ogundele, highlighted the firm’s vision to empower youth and strengthen digital innovation across Nigeria. 

He also unveiled a five-year developmental blueprint for the new media community.

‎The Coordinator of the media community and Director of Operations and Strategy, Mr. Patrick Obeto, said: “becoming a content creator comes with numerous advantages.

‎“These include expressing creativity, building a personal brand, connecting with like-minded communities, and having the opportunity to share expertise or passions with a wide audience,” he said.

‎Mr. Obeto added that the Legold Media Community will serve as a hub and springboard for young people to showcase their talents and access professional guidance.

‎At the event, the group also unveiled its Assets Save-For-Land Initiative, an affordable real-estate solution targeted at low- and middle-income earners.

‎The company explained that the programme offers flexible installment plans and affordable land options, adding that the scheme forms part of its broader mission to help reduce Nigeria’s housing deficit while promoting sustainable property ownership.
