Deola Art Alade’s Tribute To Late Herbert Wigwe

1 week ago 33

one year after his tragic demise, Deola Art Alade, the CEO of Livespot360 has paid a glowing tribute to the late CEO of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe. On Friday, February 9, 2024, Wigwe died alongside his wife and son In a helicopter accident in the United States of America.

In a tribute to the late banker and businessman, Alade, the wife of singer, Dare Art Alade described him as one who poured himself into people, into their dreams, their fears, their struggles, their triumphs-without hesitation, without holding back. According to her, his heart carried many while his shoulders were broad enough for anyone who needed to lean.

“He was more than a mentor and friend. Herbert was family. A brother who showed up, who stood firm, who made the impossible seem possible. There were no half-measures with him. If he believed in you, he gave you his all. And he believed in us. In Livespot. In the dreams we chased, in the battles we fought, in the victories we celebrated. He stood with us, not because he had to, but because that was who he was. A man whose presence was a gift, whose absence feels like a void too deep to fill.

“Yet today, as we remember him, we choose to celebrate. Because Herbert’s life was not defined by loss, but by the lives he touched, the doors he opened, the dreams he helped build. His passing was a tragedy that took not just him, but his beloved wife Doreen and his son Chizi. Three beautiful souls, bound by love, now resting together. Our hearts remain with the family they left behind.

“It is hard to find the words for a loss like this. Harder still when it comes on a day that should have been one of celebration. Darey’s birthday will never be the same. It will forever carry the weight of this goodbye,” she wrote.

She further stated that the late Wigwe never did things halfway; not in life, not in love, not in the way he lifted others.
