Delta Super Eagles Supporters Club Reaffirms Support For National SESC President, Okumagba – Independent Newspaper Nigeria


Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC)has affirmed its commitment for oneness to always invigorate the Nation’s national teams to victory just as its passed a vote of confidence to its National President Price Vincent Okumagba.

This was part of a resolution signed by Amb Dibi Yinkore Chairman and Secretary Mr Richard J.D Buwaghan Super Eagles Supporters Club (SESC) Delta State chapter in reaction to an online publication as a rejoinder to rebuff earlier publication made by Mr Lawrence Akpoveso and his group.

In a joint interactive session with journalists at its Club House Warri, Amb Yinkore and Buwaghan (SESC) stated that the current Delta SESC executives was elected in a credible, fair and seemless election.

The (SESC) while affirming its support to Prince Vincent Okumagba led National SESC, commended him for his tiredless efforts in bring peace and unity amongst the fold of SESC in Delta and Nationwide.

The Delta SESC further noted that Prince Okumagba reconcilatory efforts in Uyo paid off in the peaceful election of its State
Chapter thanking him for not weilding the big stick despite the constitution breaches of some airing members. Delta SESC stated and posited that the National President Okumagba genuinely needs our commendation and not to vilidity.

The Delta ( SESC) reiterated that prior to their election, to avoid accusations of being manipulation of the process , the National SESC nominated Eleco committee members outside Delta State, being led by Alhaji Umar Shehu and was co-chaired by Mr Christian Bazunu from Delta State SESC who is even a close friend and ally of Mr Lawrence Akpoveso.

According to (SESC) Delta chapter to its greatest dismay after the seemless, rancour free election Mr Akpoveso and his group are crying wolf with bundles of negative assertion planning to pull out of SESC. The State SESC urged them to have a re-think and come back as one big and indivisible family.

“We called on Lawrence Akpoveso, Chief Christian Bazunu to the sheath their sword , election come and go, there will always be an election in the future” “Amb Yinkore had even made a greater sacrifice in his 2023 *election victory by colapsing his EXCO for the conduct of fresh election”, the Delta SESC maintained.
