Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has said his inclusive leadership style, anchored on fairness and justice, has continued to attract defectors to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking at a mega rally in Kafanchan Township Stadium, where Senator Sunday Marshall Katung (Kaduna South) and three other legislators formally joined the APC, Sani said the state had become “one big happy family” under the ruling party.
“Kaduna State is now one big happy family under the canopy of the APC. I also call on those who are yet to join us to cross over to our party,” the governor said.
He noted that as of May 29, 2023, the opposition held 12 seats in the House of Representatives while the APC had four. “But in the last two and a half years, 10 of those members have defected to the APC,” he said, adding that seven members of the state House of Assembly had also joined the ruling party from the PDP.
