Davido’s Family Expands Fleet with Third Private Jet

Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced that his family has acquired a third private jet, further cementing their status as one of Nigeria’s most influential dynasties.

The Afrobeats icon shared the news via his Instagram story, celebrating his billionaire father, Adedeji Adeleke, for the latest addition to their collection—a brand-new Bombardier Global 7500, valued at approximately $78 million (N102 billion).

In a post filled with excitement, Davido wrote, Number 3!Congrats to the dynasty,” praising his father’s achievement and the family’s growing legacy.

The Bombardier 7500, known for its luxurious interior, long-range capabilities, and state-of-the-art design, is the largest business jet in Bombardier’s lineup, featuring four living spaces, a full-sized kitchen, and a dedicated crew area.

While Davido’s announcement sparked widespread congratulations from fans and celebrities alike, it also stirred some debate.

Several reports clarified that the jet belongs to his father, Adedeji Adeleke, a prominent business magnate and founder of Adeleke University, rather than the singer himself.

Previous claims by Davido about owning private jets have been debunked, with sources indicating that earlier jets were also acquired by his father.

The acquisition comes on the heels of Davido’s high-profile activities, including his lavish wedding to Chioma Rowland this August.

Social media buzzed with reactions, with fans marveling at the family’s wealth, while some critics questioned the timing of such displays amid Nigeria’s economic challenges.

Davido, undeterred by the mixed reactions, continues to celebrate his family’s milestones, from his father’s business ventures to their shared commitment to philanthropy and education.
