Nigerian reality TV star and entrepreneur Terseer Kidd Waya, popularly known as Kiddwaya, has opened up about his struggles dating women who are not financially well-off.
Speaking on the Off The Record podcast on Tuesday, the former Big Brother Naija housemate said his experiences dating women from lower- or middle-class backgrounds have often been challenging.
The billionaire’s son explained that while many of these women begin relationships with humility and gratitude, their attitude tends to change as they grow accustomed to his lifestyle.

He said, “At first, they’re thankful everything feels new and exciting. But after a few months, they start comparing themselves to others. They want the same bags and the same trips, and soon, what was once special becomes expected.
“The entitlement sets in and sometimes turns into rudeness. That’s been my biggest issue dating someone from a lower class and bringing them into my lifestyle.”
He noted that what initially begins as a thoughtful act or gift soon becomes an expectation, often leading to disrespect and tension in the relationship.
Kiddwaya admitted that these experiences have made it difficult for him to sustain relationships with women who cannot match his financial or social status, adding that he prefers connections built on understanding and shared values rather than wealth
