Cynthia Ufele becomes Brand Influencer and Culture Manager for Diageo

Accomplished marketing professional, Cynthia Ufele, has been appointed Brand Manager for Influencer Reserve and Culture Manager for South, West, and Central Africa. This marks a significant milestone in her career, further solidifying her influence in the beverage alcohol industry.

Cynthia brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as the Guinness Trademark Lead in Nigeria. She successfully repositioned Guinness as one of Nigeria’s most equitable beer brands, achieving double-digit profit growth. Her leadership has delivered award-winning campaigns such as Black Shines Brightest and Bright House, while pioneering inclusion and diversity initiatives. She also revitalized Guinness within the cultural landscape, created unique football experiences, and spearheaded the groundbreaking Big Brother Nigeria campaign for Diageo’s portfolio in Nigeria. Expressing her enthusiasm for her new role, Cynthia said: “I am excited to take on this new challenge and look forward to contributing to the vibrant and dynamic market in Africa.”
