The Nigeria Police has released Tiktoker, Olumide Ogunsanwo aka SeaKing on administrative bail.
The content creator was arrested for insulting the general Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye over his call for his members to embark on 100 days fasting and prayer.
His actions prompted the Concerned Christian Youth Forum petitioned the police and SeaKing was arrested.
He was moved to the Federal Investigation Department, (FID), in Abuja under DIG Dasuki Galandanchi for alleged cyber bullying.
However, activist politician, Omoyele Sowore confirmed SeaKing’s release on Monday via a post on X.
According to Sowore: “We are pleased to confirm that Olumide Ogunsanwo @seaking303 has been released from Nigeria Police Force custody, subsequent to our prompt rejection of the initial bail condition requiring a Level 12 or 10 civil servant, resulting in a swift agreement and release on administrative bail, signed by me.
“Great thanks to Inibehe Effiong, Adeyanju Deji, Tope Temokun and Marshal D F Abubakar and the great community of conscientious citizens who reject oppression of all kinds in our nation! #RevolutionNow.”
The development is coming hours after Pastor Adeboye called for his release, adding that he was only fulfilling prophesies of event that will come to pass.
