Court Rejects Bid To Stop #ReleaseNnamdiKanuNow Protest

Justice Umar on Friday directed the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to serve the motion on the protest organiser, Omoyele Sowore, to enable him respond to it.

In the ex parte application with number FHC/ABJ/CS/2202/2025, the police had brought the ex parte application against Sowore and four others contending that the protesters, who intend to march to the Presidential Villa in Abuja on October 20, would cause a breakdown of law and order.
