The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has secured the conviction of human trafficker, Fasa Sandra, over trafficking of persons for prostitution.
Sandra was sentenced to two years jail term with an option of N250,000 fine.
NAPTIP had arraigned Fasa Sandra, 35, and OmengorChinoso, 26, before a Federal High Court for exportation of persons for prostitution and tampering with evidence and witness in 2021.

But Chinoso had jumped bail and didn’t appear in court for judgement.
The court reserved judgment on OmengorChinoso, who had jumped bail pending when she was brought back to the court.
