ABAKALIKI – The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, has said that work is to commence soon on Ndibe Beach Crossing in the ancient city of Afikpo, Ebonyi State.
He said that President Bola Tinubu is determined to complete all projects scheduled under his Renewed Hope administration.
The Minister explained that the Ndibe Beach Crossing is part of the project that would benefit the people of Ebonyi and Cross River States.
Umahi spoke on the occasion of his visit to the Ndibe beach Afikpo with staff of the Ministry to carry out the last phase of inspection for the Ndibe beach crossing construction.
He called on people of the State to continue to support the administration of President Tinubu-led administration , pointed out that President Tinubu remains committed in the development of the South East especially the road infrastructure in the zone.
He said that all is set for the commencement of the project having secured all the necessary approvals and called on the people of the area to ensure the protection of lives and properties of those that would carry out the job in the area.
Ebonyi State House of Assembly member representing Afikpo West State Constituency, Hon. Kingsley Ikoro commended the Minister for attracting the project for the people of Afikpo, and assured him of the commitment of people of the area to support to good and people-oriented policies and programmes.
