Chelsea captain Reece James has debunked reports circulating in the media that the Blues have discipline problem.
He made this known after the team received their fifth red card in their last six games, in the team’s 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Recall that Malo Gusto was shown a red card in that encounter.
In a chat with the club’s website, James stated that Gusto’s tackle wasn’t intentional.

“It’s difficult, if you look at all of them, they’re all very much different red cards,” James explained. “They’re not straight reds, they’re double bookings.
“I was next to him (Gusto) when I saw him going for the tackle, and it is a split second. He was there to win the ball, and he just mistimed it.
“No, I wouldn’t say this is a problem for us. We have to accept it. This is what’s happened in the past few games, but it’s not something that will continue.”
