Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, has released her second album, Am I the Drama?, on Friday, ending a seven-year wait since her Grammy-winning debut, Invasion of Privacy.

The 23-song project, launched under Atlantic Records, opened at the top spot on the US iTunes albums chart and showcases collaborations with Kehlani, Megan Thee Stallion, Selena Gomez, and Janet Jackson.

Rolling Stone awarded the album 4.5 stars, highlighting its “raw energy and fearless storytelling.”

Cardi B debuted the music video for her single Safe and attended an Apple Music event in New York City to support the album, with a world tour scheduled for 2026.

The album’s release comes amid recent personal news. On September 17, Cardi B revealed she is expecting a child with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, ending weeks of speculation.

In a CBS interview, she expressed her joy, saying, “I’m excited. I’m happy.”
