When it comes to movie making, famous actress Ruth Kadiri has made her mark in the Nigerian film industry with a YouTube channel that garners millions of views. However, despite being a creative, she has come out to reveal her phobia for long bridal trains.
In a post on Instagram where she talked about weddings, the actress wondered how ladies who do not like crowds cope on their wedding day without a long bridal train.
“Am I the only one who sometimes I see wedding and pictures how the bride sits down with 15 of her friends and I start having panic attack? What happens to those girls who are not usually friendly people, who just live their lives on their own, don’t have friends? Like what’s going on? How do you people think that they cope?
Girls how do you cope? Are you also dealing with the same type of anxiety that I deal with on your behalf? You know the fear of who’s gonna attend my wedding oh my God, all the pictures I see on Bella. They are so cute and there’s a lot of beautiful friends that the bride has and I don’t have that much friends. Who’s gonna be there for me?” She queried.
She further opined that to balance things out, wedding blogs need to start posting and celebrating simple wedding ceremonies devoid of all the glitz and glamour.
She said, “I mean why can’t we also see pictures of people who get married truly without friends and pictures? There are some people that have never had parties because they are afraid that people are not gonna come and also they genuinely do not have friends so they are like who am I going to invite? Can’t we just balance it out in terms of posts because I’m sure that people just have parties for three or four people and everything goes well. If you guys post more pictures like that it will make people feel calm.”
