The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) announced Monday it recorded a net profit of N5.4 trillion at the close of the financial year ending December 2024.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the NNPC Ltd, Bayo Ojulari said the release of the audited financial statement is a testament to the company’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
“The 2024 financial results were unveiled today and NNPC recorded a profit after tax of N5.4 trillion at the close of the financial year ending December 2024. The journey started in 2021 when the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) was passed. NNPC is now largely a limited liability company.

“Our engagement today is intentional, I mean it reflects our evolving focus on becoming a truly limited liability company, a commercially driven entity as intended in the PIA,” Mr Ojulari said
