The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the results of the 2025 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE), with 60.26 percent of candidates obtaining five credits or more, including English and Mathematics.
At a press briefing at NECO’s headquarters in Minna, Niger State, Registrar Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi stated that 818,492 candidates met this benchmark.
He added that 1,144,496 candidates, representing 84.26 percent, scored five credits or more regardless of English and Mathematics.
Professor Wushishi also disclosed that 1,367,210 candidates registered for the examination, comprising 685,514 males and 681,696 females, while 1,358,339 actually sat for the exams, including 680,292 males and 678,047 females.
