BREAKING: Dignitaries arrive for APC NEC meeting

All is now set for the commencement of the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the national headquarters of the ruling party in Abuja.

Already seated include the members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), Forum of State Chairmen, former and incumbent governors, former deputy Senate president, Ovie Omo-Agege, and other principal officers of the National Assembly, Ministers, among others.

The list of the former governors in attendance include Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, his Kebbi counterpart and Minister of Budget and National Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.

The incumbents in attendants include Edo, Monday Okpebholo, Ondo, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Benue State, Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Ekiti, Biodun Oyebanji, Kaduna, Musa Sani, Nasarawa State, Abdulahi Sule, Yobe, Mai Mala Buni, among others.

Also present include Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shetimma, Senate President, Goodwill Akpabio, Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas are expected to be in attendance.
Expectedly, the entire Blantyre street, housing the national headquarters of the ruling party was condoned off, stopping all vehicular and human traffic except those participating in the meeting.
