Two women were Tuesday morning killed by a bread distribution van along the Alao-Akala Memorial Highway, Randa area of Ogbomoso town.

An witness account said the two women were knocked down and killed by the van with registration number OYO AME 92 XB.

It was alleged that the bread distribution van was on high speed when the two women were about crossing the Alao-Akala Memorial Highway, Randa area of Ogbomoso town  and they were knocked down by the van.

The eye witness said the two women including a local food vendor at the Osupa area of Ogbomoso died instantly.

 “The van was moving at a very high speed, they couldn’t have survived the impact,” the eye witness said.

He added that the driver of the bread distribution van was later pursued apprehended by commercial motorcyclists while attempting to escape.
