Beyoncé has made history yet again, becoming the first black woman to top the Billboard country music chart.
The Grammy winner achieved this accomplishment after her new single, Texas Hold ‘Em, debuted at number one on the country radio list this week. The song was released on February 11, during the Super Bowl, along with her second single, 16 Carriages, which made its debut on the same chart at No. 9.
Both tracks are expected to be on Beyoncé’s upcoming country-themed album, dubbed “Act II,” which will be released on March 29. It’s a sequel to her Renaissance album from 2022, which is referred to as “Act I: Renaissance.”
