A fast growing agro-tech company, BeepAgro Africa, has launched a groundbreaking initiative, the BPI Market and Export Promotion Programme, aimed at revolutionising global trade by providing Nigerian producers and entrepreneurs access to international markets.
The programme, unveiled in Lagos, recently, offers an innovative approach that enables local businesses and individuals to earn in foreign currencies through the export of agricultural and locally made products.
The BPI Market is designed to promote Nigerian agricultural produce, foodstuffs, and other locally made goods across Africa and beyond. A key feature of this initiative is the EPC Code, which allows individuals to sponsor products, share them within their networks, and earn incentives in foreign currencies whenever purchases are made using their unique code.
BeepAgro Africa has set an ambitious goal of onboarding 100 million EPC Code holders as part of its strategy to democratise global trade participation. Interested individuals can join the initiative through a simple process:
During the unveiling event, a live demonstration highlighted the real-time use of an EPC Code. A participant’s EPC Code was used in the United States to purchase a product, instantly earning the code owner an incentive in dollars. This was then converted into naira and credited to the participant’s local bank account, showcasing the program’s seamless integration into international commerce.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of BeepAgro Africa, Gilead Okolonkwo, expressed his commitment to reshaping Africa’s economic landscape:
“We are not here to watch the world evolve but to shape it. BPI EPC is unlocking the doors of global trade, empowering our people to export Africa’s wealth and earn in foreign currencies,” he said.
He further called on Africans to take charge of their economic future.m: “To the dreamers, the builders, the believers—this is your time! Africa is rising, and we are the architects of that rise! The world will no longer define us; we will define the world.”
However, the CMO of BeepAgro Africa, Bright Ighosotu, emphasized the investment potential in the BPI Market, urging individuals and businesses to sponsor products for listing. Sponsors can secure a product for 30 days, allowing it to undergo necessary analysis and certification before hitting the global market.
“Even if you don’t have a product but are interested in getting one, with BPI, we can make that possible while you earn foreign income as a sponsor monthly,” Ighosotu stated.
The launch event attracted BPI Lagos State Representatives, community members, and key industry stakeholders, underscoring the commitment of BeepAgro Africa to fostering economic growth and innovation across the continent.
To further educate individuals on maximising the program’s benefits, BPI will host a weekly Wednesday Onsite Training at its BeepAgro Africa HQ.
As the event concluded with a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony, Okolonkwo made a declaration.
His words: “We declare prosperity, innovation, and unity for Africa! The future is ours to claim! BPI—We Are The Future.”
