Bandits k!ll one, kidnap varsity student and three others in Sokoto

Bandits reportedly killed one person and abducted four others in Gumburawa village, in Wamakko Local Government Area of Sokoto State.Gumburawa, situated near Usmanu Danfodio University on the outskirts of Sokoto city, was attacked in the wee hours of Monday, September 9, 2024. One of the abducted victims is a 300-level student of the Usmanu Danfodio University identified as Fodio Abdullahi. A resident, Malam Saidu Muhammad Gumburawa, who had previously been kidnapped by bandits, told Daily Trust that the attackers targeted some houses during their 30-minute raid.They killed one person and kidnapped four others.
