Bala felicitates with Prof Ningi on appointment as ABU VC 

The Bauchi state governor, Bala Mohammed, has congratulated an indigene of the state, Professor Adamu Ahmed Ningi, on his well-deserved appointment as the vice chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria.

In a press statement signed by Mukhtar Gidado, his special adviser on Media and Publicity, the governor described Professor Ningi’s appointment as a testament to his unwavering dedication, academic excellence, and outstanding contributions to the field of urban and regional p[lanning.

He said Prof.  Ningi has built a distinguished career marked by professional competence and integrity with an unrelenting commitment to scholarship, research, and development.

“As a former Honorable Commissioner for Lands under Governor Mohammed Mohammed’s administration in Bauchi state, Professor Ningi has played a crucial role in shaping policies that have significantly impacted the state’s urban and regional planning landscape. His visionary leadership and expertise contributed immensely to the transformation and sustainable development of our communities.

“At Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, he has been a pillar of academic excellence, and has mentored countless scholars and professionals, leaving an indelible mark on the institution. His  new role as Vice Chancellor is a well-earned recognition and we have no doubt that under his leadership as vice chancellor, ABU Zaria will reach even greater heights” the governor said.
