Badagry NSCDC Gets New Divisional Officer

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Badagry
Divisional Headquarters has gotten a new Divisional Officer (DO).

He is a Chief Superintendent of Corps, Gbenga Ekunola. He took over from Oghoghome V.J
who has been transferred to the state Command of the Corps.

A statement made available to Daily Independent on Wednesday, said that already, Ekunola has assumed duties in Badagry Division office of the Corps in Lagos State.

Addressing the Badagry officers of the Corps after his resumption, Ekunola admonished them to work harder on the area of security and protection of lives and property in the community.

The new DO called on the Community to cooperate with the Corps in order to flush out miscreants, hoodlums and other criminals and most importantly on the protection of critical national assets, infrastructure, and construction sites in the local government.

Ekunola charged stakeholders, community leaders and all residents to ensure adequate protection of government critical infrastructure in their communities, adding that there will be no development without these critical infrastructure.

He declared that he has been given the order by the Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, Adedotun Sunday Keshinro to flush out any form of criminal activities in Badagry and he warned all undesirable elements to keep away from the area, adding that anyone caught will face full wrath of the law and dealt with accordingly.
