Former Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar on Friday met with ex-Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.
Atiku and El-Rufai went for Jummat prayers at a mosque in Abuja together.
The duo were surrounded by their supporters as seen in a video shared by an X user @emmaikumeh.
Sharing the video, he wrote: “Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar went to the mosque together today in Abuja.”
Lately, El-Rufai has been in the news for criticizing the All Progressives Congress, APC.
The former governor had said he no longer recognizes the APC due to lack of internal democracy.
He claimed that organs of the party have not met in the past two years under President Bola Tinubu.
Despite the criticisms that greeted El-Rufai’s comment from the APC, Tinubu felicitated with him on his birthday a few days ago.
Meanwhile, Atiku recently met with former military Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, at his hilltop residence in Minna, Niger State.
Before that, Atiku met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Ota, Ogun State.
