A hit-and-run driver has reportedly killed a student of the University of Ilorin nursing school leaving another injured.
The incident, it was gathered, occurred weekend around 9pm at the Amilengbe campus when the students, while returning from a night class, branched off to buy bread.
The deceased is said to be a two hundred level nursing student.

“The hit-and-run driver knocked them down in the process and killed one of them instantly while the other was injured and rushed to the hospital,” a witness said.
When contacted, the provost of the college, Mrs Abdulmalik, confirmed the incident.
She said, “The accident involved two nursing students. One of the victims died, while the other is currently at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) receiving treatment.”
