Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has disclosed that Martin Odegaard’s shoulder injury may be minor, but Bukayo Saka’s hamstring issue is significant and impactful, following their 5-0 Premier League win over Leeds on Saturday.
Gunners captain Odegaard was the first to be substituted with what appeared to be a shoulder issue during the first half.
Th followed by Saka, who went down after stretching to play a pass.He was helped off by the medical team and looked in clear discomfort.

In a chat with the club’s website, Arteta confirmed that the pair would undergo further assessment on Sunday, although the one saving grace with Saka is that he has not injured the same hamstring that put him out for three months last season.
“Martin looked like a shoulder. We’ll have a scan tomorrow, so we’ll see.
“Bukayo had to come off when he was sprinting with a defender, he felt a hamstring, a different one (than last season). We’ll have to speak to the doctors.
“We lost Kai, who is a massive player, and now Bukayo and Martin, that’s why the squad has to be big.”
