Arsenal Thrash Nottingham Forest At Emirates


Martin Zubimendi scored twice as Arsenal condemned Nottingham Forest to a 3-0 defeat at the Emirates.

The Gunners will however have to worry about their captain Martin Odegaard, who left the pitch after 18 minutes as a result of shoulder injury.

Odegaard was replaced by young midfielder Ethan Nwaneri.

It was a miserable start for Forest’s new manager Ange Postecoglou as as his new charges failed to trouble their hosts.

Zubimendi put Arsenal in front with a superb volley two minutes after the half hour mark.

The Gunners doubled their advantage one minute after the break with Viktor Gyokeres firing home following an assist from Eberechi Eze.

Zubimendi got his second of the game 11 minutes from time.
