Legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has advised the club not to hesitate to attack Manchester City from start to finish ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash.
After Arsenal’s 2-0 Champions League win over Athletic Club on Tuesday, Henry revealed his concern over Arsenal’s approach in games against fellow Premier League title contenders Manchester City.
Speaking on CBS Sports following Arsenal’s Champions League win, Henry revealed that Arteta needs to stop being complacent and attack until the very last minute to collect 3 points or otherwise sacrifice the title.

“I’m sure you remember that game where we lost 2-0 to Aston Villa at home (in 2024). “I’m just saying, if you want to win the league, you have to go and get it.
“When you play for the title you need to go and get it. Not playing not to lose games. If you want to beat Liverpool or Man City, you’ve got to go and get it, you cannot enter a game with, ‘let’s not lose it’.
“If you want to win the league, in my time, you had to get Man United, you cannot just go and say, ‘let’s see if we can draw this one’.”
